Chase Dunbar is a full stack software developer with experience in app, web, and robotic software engineering.
Chase started his college career in Graphic Design and later changed his focus to software engineering after attending a Computer Science lecture his sophomore year of college. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Digital Arts from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
Chase’s career began with internships in robotics, and he received Honorable Mention for “Most World-Changing Product” at the Minneapolis Startup Weekend event in 2012. He was recognized for his work in developing an open source hardware model to control electronic devices around the house with an eyebrow raise for physically disabled patients.
Chase moved onto working in the web industry, building web apps and websites for many clients through his internships and early full-time career. He later published his own mobile app called NamePlay as part of his startup, FunbarLabs.
Chase is currently enjoying the development that the agency life offers a software engineer. The constant exposure to different technologies and opportunity to solve problems for multiple teams keeps the daily workload exciting. He has been an asset to the production of client websites as well as Aimclear’s MarTech solutions.

Chase has had a knack for action sports at a young age. While working from home as a software developer, he took the opportunity to live in South Padre Island, TX where he progressed his surfing and kiteboarding on a daily basis. He then moved to Jackson Hole, WY where he pursued his passions in mountain biking, rock climbing, and snowboarding. He now calls Duluth, MN his home, and enjoys all the recreational activities the city has to offer.
